I would assume reading the novel in Spanish is a different experience entirely. For anyone interested in the Mexican Revolution, this book is essential reading. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. El solape entre una y otra obra no es mera casualidad. We take intellectual property concerns very seriously, but many of these problems can be resolved directly by the parties involved.

Guzman wrote this after the Revolution, while in exile in Spain. This particular copy of the long-out-of-print book was once part of the Chicano Studies Library Collection at UC-Berkeley in the 1960s, somehow found its way to an antique bookseller in London, where it came home with me to Chicago. Original works, hitherto unpublished, enhance the litterary analysis. So how far do you bend your own values to lead them in the best possible direction?

Twentieth Century Fiction, Lanin Gyurko.
