Added by Acts 1989, 71st Leg. The act extends the period during which tax credits are available to eligible employers under 500 full time employees that voluntarily provide paid sick and family leave after March 31, 2021.
This credit also would be delivered regularly so families do not have to wait until tax season to receive a refund. This section prevails over Chapter to the extent of any conflict. The board shall promulgate regulations in consulta- tion with the cannabis advisory board to implement this article. Eligible non-payroll costs would include the list of new eligible expenses set forth in section 304 above.

f In this section, "state agency" means: 1 a board, commission, department, or other agency in the executive branch of state government that is created by the constitution or a statute of this state, including an institution of higher education as defined by SectionEducation Code, other than a public junior or community college; 2 the legislature or a legislative agency; or 3 the supreme court, the court of criminal appeals, a court of appeals, or a state judicial agency.
a The comptroller may enter an agreement with a credit card issuer under which: 1 the issuer is required to pay to the comptroller an amount of money based on the use of the credit card by the holders of the credit card; and 2 the issuer is permitted to represent to the public that use of the credit card benefits state parks and to design credit cards issued under the agreement to indicate this benefit.
